Thank you to everyone who voted in the recent charity poll. 60% of you voted for the Stroke Association, so our fundraising efforts for this financial year will raise money for this deserving charity.
A stroke is a brain attack. It happens when the blood supply to part of your brain is cut off. There are 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK with 100,000 people suffering a stroke each year, that’s one Stroke every five minutes. All strokes are different. For some people the effects may be relatively minor and may not last long, while others may be left with more serious long-term problems. To find out more visit The Stroke Association.
